Life, Love, and Laughter

What’s there to know? We are the average Joe middle-aged (and ouch, does that hurt to type) couple. We have 2 children, both adults now ~ but I will always call them my babies. Our oldest, Taylor, is engaged to his high school sweetheart, Jamie Lee. Chelsie, the youngest (that’s the way it goes if you only have 2, the youngest and oldest), is married to Collin, and they are expecting our very first grandchild. Yep, we will be Nana and Papa. I think that possibly sounds younger than granny and gramps.

As adults in the empty nest stage, we are poised on the edge of adventure, ready to jump off and live overseas in Paris, France! Wow. That sounds cool even to just think, let alone write. Our first task will be to learn the language with as little of an accent as possible ??? While we go to language school, we will also learn about the French culture and hopefully make some new French friends. I am sure there are some humiliating ‘I can’t believe that’s what I said’ days in the near future…So if anyone needs a little dose of embarassment, please drop us a line. We will be glad to unload some of our overflowing collection.
